Final Post: New Album, New Places, and A Big, Big Thank You!

Dear Reader,

Well, this is it. It feels strange to say goodbye, but it seems like now is the right time. For those who have been following for a while, you can probably tell that this website has been going in a different direction lately. When I first started writing in July of 2012, I wanted to make this a writer’s blog, mainly because I thought that writing novels was going to be what I would do with my life. However, as the last blog post talked about, I ended up discovering musical artists that would not only change my musical tastes, but my entire life. At the same time, I didn’t want to discontinue this blog, especially after finding that the WordPress community is so supportive (if anyone reading this is thinking of starting a blog using WordPress, I highly recommend it). Yet, now that my first album is officially out and available to stream/purchase (click here to listen), it seems only right to close this chapter.

I am aware that a lot of people who clicked the “follow” button probably did so more for the blog posts than for my musical endeavors, so I understand if you no longer wish to continue “following” me on the internet. For those who are interested, however, I’ll be on the usual sites: Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Eventually, I will probably get my own website, but if/when I do, it will be announced through those sites.

Lastly, I can’t end this blog post without saying thank you to everyone who has liked, commented, and/or subscribed to this blog during the last three years. Your support, your questions, your guest posts, your comments have meant so much to me. I hope you tag along for whatever happens next, but, if not, just know that I sincerely, completely appreciate you and can’t thank you enough.

  1. Well, Charlie, I have definitely enjoyed your posts and the balanced way you handled differing opinions on this blog. I wish you the very best in your new endeavors. Be sure to connect with me on Facebook. Novels are still my thing, but I love keeping in touch with old friends.
